In Texas, we do a few things well. I don’t know, have you heard of oil, Whataburger or Beyoncé? We dress well, too. Go figure. Texans are also incredibly humble about our state…so charming. 😉 So while New York still wins for fashion week, spring is event season in Dallas. Every single week girls are running frantically to NorthPark. Who am I kidding? This is Dallas. Girls are sending their stylists frantically to NorthPark to grab 14 different dresses to wear in one night.
One of my favorite Dallas publications, CultureMap, along with Mockingbird Station put on the annual Spring What to Wear Fashion Show last week. This event benefited Dress For Success, which promotes the economic independence in women by providing them with professional attire and support to help them thrive in their careers. I was lucky enough to attend and share with you everything to wear for spring! This year’s theme was centered around a getaway to Paris, and we got to snap our cameras away while sipping on Deep Eddy Vodka cocktails inspired by France.
So what do you need for spring? White dresses, neutral bases, outfit sets, tribal prints, black and white and neon patterns. Who needs groceries when you have clothes?
