Let’s talk vacations. 

I’ve gotten a lot of e-mails from girls saying they are going on vacation with their boyfriend’s family and have no idea what to wear. 

Do you bring a dress for a nice dinner? Do you bring nike shorts and appear “low maintenance?” Do you bring a curling iron and look put together or no blow dryer so you can just go with the flow?! And the worst part is you have to pack it all in a teeny tiny bag so that you aren’t rude and taking up too much space. 

Why does no one discuss how difficult it is?! Seriously….

So maybe that was dramatic (or you and I are on the same page and we can be besties). But I have that packing conversation in my head no matter where I am going or who I am going with. After multiple failed attempts and trying to squeeze into my sister’s double zeros because I didn’t pack correctly, I think I’ve got a fool-proof packing light list for you!  I followed this little plan this past weekend at the lake in South Carolina, and it worked perfectly!
