I love “go-to” anything. In college you always have the “go-to” formal date. He’s good looking for pictures, a sweetheart and won’t mind your ridiculous dance moves. Then we all have our go-to meals, hello Rico Salad at Mi Cocina. But my favorite? Go-to outfits.
In case you can’t tell…plaid has been my go-to this season. There is something so comfortable about having a go-to outfit. A few months ago I couldn’t get out of a Canadian Tuxedo, this summer I was all about destroyed black skinnies and V-necks. Now if I see plaid, flannel or buffalo check I run to it like it is free cake.
I’ve tried to mix it up with top knots and pointed heels, so that I can get away wearing this outfit everywhere! I think there is just something to be said about a really girly girl throwing on a tomboy piece.
I’ve pulled together my favorite flannel and plaid shirts that aren’t super “boxy.”

I love your take on plaid. I like how instead of pairing it with blue jeans and boots you went for darker colors that really make the plaid pop. This is inspiring me to buy some plaid soon.
