As excited as I am for the weekend, my weekends have been anything but something to look forward to. You might have seen on Instagram, but Paul is currently finishing up his CPA tests. [Fingers crossed, he SHOULD be finished this month!] I thought the CPA certification was just like most fields where you took one test. Um, no. There are multiple. And you can only take them certain times of the year. And accountants work all the time. So Friday nights have consisted of me sitting on his couch, watching Netflix, eating an Eatzi’s pizza while he studies.

I know this is “only for a season” but it seems incredibly long! I’ve been running home to Fort Worth the past few weekends so Paul doesn’t feel bad about studying 14 hours straight. I’ve been looking for an outfit that can “go anywhere” because when I head to Fort Worth we could be doing anything from running errands to my dad taking us to a nice dinner. This little cotton stripe dress with booties and a vest fits the bill!
