My favorite trick for getting dressed quickly is to always keep seasonal uniforms in your closet. I use my clothing rack to have 2-3 looks that I can grab and throw on no matter where I am going. But no matter the season, a Canadian Tuxedo is always on the rack.
I’ve paired the look with shorts or long denim as seen above. The only issue? Chambray tops are a the teenage girls of clothing. Always finicky. Sometimes the material is too bulky or sometimes it fits like spandex.
If you go too tiny you look Limited Too circa 1998 and if you go too baggy you feel a bit frumpy. But until you find that perfect fit [I swear by this top!] you can always just leave your chambray top unbuttoned and let a basic tank show through! And if you are worried you’ll look too laid back, pair the look with some chunky ’70s sandals like I did!
My tank is from PoshSquare [remember this look with them?!] and you can actually enter to win one here! It’s such a soft basic tank that fits perfectly in any wardrobe and can fit in any of your seasonal “uniforms.” I went up a size in mine and I wear it, sleep in it, lounge in it and eat tacos in it! The fit is amazing and so is the texture.
Fight off that Limited Too look, win a tank and have an amazing Tuesday!

I’m not typically a fan of denim on denim but this look is so cute! That chambray looks sooo soft and comfy! Also, your hair looks adorable!
