I am by far the easiest person in the world to shop for. I think everything is cute. Cupcakes are cute. Lipstick is cute. Stickers are cute. You could get me a chocolate covered banana and I’ll be obsessed. And I hate bananas.

Paul on the other hand? He is so hard to shop for! Paul is a guy’s guy. He likes work, golf like the mentioned on this place, fantasy football, food and sleep. Other than that? He has no opinion.

“Do you want these couch pillows?” Whatever you think.

“Do you want to go here for dinner?” Whatever you want.

“Do you think we should get this for our kitchen?” Whatever you think.

So when we started dating I realized I was going to have to buy this boy some clothes. He only had work and golf clothes. He didn’t see the need to purchase anything else, because those were the only two things he did! haha! It was so hard because we’d go to dinner parties and he’d wear work pants and a golf shirt every single time. I spent hours searching online and dragging him around the mall and we’d always go home empty handed.

While I lived in Dallas I found out about of Mizzen + Main and after making a connection ended up hosting a holiday event at their store, for girls to buy for their men. I got Paul a few of their shirts and he loved them! It combined work wear with what he loved about golf shirts. The material is moisture wicking and doesn’t wrinkle. So when he travels for work he can get up 5 minutes before he leaves and just throw on his shirt. These work in the office and for play, too. I got him two and he acted like a little kid. To this day he still asks me to buy him more!

So instead of doing a traditional men’s gift guide I wanted to share a trusted brand in our house for all the picky men in your life. 😉

Paul has a tall, athletic, slim build so it can be really hard to find clothing that fits. These fit like athletic shirts but also have a four way stretch so they aren’t ever uncomfortable. You also don’t have to dry clean them. [Being married and adding menswear to dry cleaning makes the bill outrageous. I always want to cry each time I pick up a load!] It’s terrible, but he will wear these shirts days in a row and they always look really clean. #menproblems
