There are three things a girl should always keep in her car in case you gotta “chicen” up [I’d say freshen up, but y’all are already always fresh so the next step is chic 😉 ]:

Donna Karan Deodorant:

I stockpile this stuff like your grandpa stockpiled water bottles for Y2K. I’m going to go ahead and warn you that once you buy this deodorant any other kind will be repulsive to you and you’d rather go without than swipe anything else on your delicate underarms. The scent is so good and almost acts as a perfume for your entire body. Go ahead and get two because the day you run out of number 1, you’ll cry or be late to work picking up another bottle.

Sparkling Soda Shine Mist:

I picked up this mist a few months back and almost had buyer’s remorse. By the time I wash, blow dry, curl and tease the last thing I think about doing is adding in shine. I decided to throw it in my purse to try after a spin class one day and Paul about freaked out. He kept telling me how good I smelled and hugging me while we were walking. I was almost a little ticked because here I am spending hours getting ready each week and a $28 bottle of shine mist makes him fall in love all over again. haha! But in all seriousness, I keep this in my car because it tames flyways like nobodies business and I have tons of baby hairs-always have! So after a day filled with meetings and errands I look like the hot mess express and need a little something something besides heat to tame my locks. This spray smooths everything out while making your hair smell like candy!

A Cape

This is where I might lose you! A cape?! What?! You know how everyone says to leave a light jacket in your car, the problem with that is if your jacket matches. It’s all good and well if you have on leggings and a black tee but sometimes it clashes and you feel a little awkward bringing it in a restaurant. I love this cape from Chicwish because it is reversible to match whatever look you have and covers your look in an oversized style! Chicwish has a ton of blanket capes that warm you up in the fall and are perfect to pack up for a weekend trip! So while I am a little ridiculous and love to keep this in my backseat all during fall/winter, it just goes to show that they truly do pair well with anything! And if they don’t, you can at least pull a Mary Kate Olsen and have the cape cover whatever you need to hide! A jean jacket doesn’t do that! 😉
