I’ve hit the point of winter where everything is a few shades too pale and you couldn’t pay me to go step foot in a spray tan booth. If you can see your breath when you talk, you shouldn’t be taking your bum to get sprayed. Too cold. Too cold.

I could always just do self tanner at home, but Peaches currently whines the entire time I shower and then licks my legs once I get out like they are dripping in caviar and a $300 bottle of Pinot. I can’t really risk her mouth turning orange and my legs having puppy tongue marks.

I like to brighten up my look [and fake some color] by actually using color. Ground breaking. I know. 😉

BUT I think when we are pale it’s really easy to gravitate towards all black, and that can actually make you look a lot paler. I like to add a pop of pink, a bright sweater and some tassel earrings! I use Neon Azalea by Estee Lauder, it’s a great blue-based pink [keeps your teeth white!]. I also love these earrings I get at Design Darling. I’ve had them for years and still get questions where they are from. They are my go-to earring for a wedding and come in a ton of different shades. Put your hair in a low messy bun and pair it with these. It automatically pulls your look together! And I topped my white blouse with a neon yellow sweater for a spring touch.
