When your little girl tells you she wants a Barbie birthday party, your heart skips a beat, and you relive your childhood like it is your J-O-B. haha. But in all seriousness, you can probably tell by now that I find such joy in throwing parties for those I love. Whether it is a baby shower, a birthday party, or a dinner party, those little details you find on Etsy or the colorful confetti just makes me all the more happy.
This past weekend we celebrated Maxi’s third birthday. We had 12 little girlfriends over to get manicures, bead bracelets, and decorate cookies. My sister and her friends were amazing and help me set up stations so they could paint the girls’ nails, help them ice Barbie shoe cookies, and string beads.
We had a “brunch” party because I never know what time to schedule something with their naps these days, but morning always feels like a safe time. haha. The other reason I love a brunch party is because of how easy the food is! We did donuts, fruit, Chicken Minis from Chick-Fil-A, mini pancakes, and fruit. You could also add in the little quiches from Costco or Sam’s, but this was plenty for the girls and their mamas.
Most of the decor items were from Etsy, so I’ll link everything I can below!

Let me know if I can source anything else for you from the party! Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
Okay, so I say this knowing that you would love and obsess over Maxi no matter what her interests were…. but how fun is it to have a daughter who’s into fun and girly things like you are?! Well done on the party, mama.
It has been so fun! And you’re totally right, I’m already daydreaming about the boy party themes! Haha. But this party felt so special to do for her because of course the 7-year-old girl in me was loving it! Lol
I’m obsessed with this!! Due in June with a baby girl and my girly-girl self is saving this idea for when mine is old enough! I already have a son and have loved doing all the boy themes but this just made me SO excited for girl parties!!!
Aw congratulations!! And please share your boy party themes!! I’m already wondering what baby boy will like! ?
Love the cake! Maxi must’ve been thrilled! Such a lovely set up! ❤️✨

I LOVE Barbie stuff and love the new Barbie series on Netflix that my 9 year old daughter got me hooked on. Have you guys seen the Barbie apparel that was just released by Forever 21? I sorta kinda want a handful of those pieces. Barbie brings out the little girl in all of us! 🙂 Loved this themed party post.
You did a wonderful job! Brunch was a great idea for toddlers!
Everything looks fabulous! Even as a 20-something-year-old, I would love to attend a party like this! 🙂
Oh. My. Word. I am OBSESSED with this party! Seriously, I want to throw myself a Barbie party! That wouldn’t be weird right? LOL I don’t have any kids yet, but if I do and I have a girl, we are for sure having a Barbie themed party. I will most certainly reliving my childhood dreams!
Girl, not weird at all! I want to have a Barbie birthday dinner, too! lol
Everything is soooo beautiful! She must have had the best time! Would you mind sharing where you got the barbie T-shirts?
Hi Ana! So sorry, this comment got buried. I got them on etsy! xx, Katey
