It’s that time of year where you can’t look at another sweater, much less covet one, but it’s still chilly outside. I feel that way especially because I don’t want to buy more sweaters to fit the bump when I’ll deliver in the summer. That’s how I know it’s time to start sharing some transitional pieces that we can hopefully start wearing in a few weeks.
Today, I’m sharing a Walmart fashion spring haul with five pieces you can mix and match into your transitional wear! While a few of these looks are “full” head-to-toe styled options, I wanted this post to feature five neutrals you can easily toss over a dress, a skirt, denim, or work pants. I was so thrilled with the order I placed because everything worked! Each piece fit perfectly and the quality of the items blew me away. You know how online hauls can be total fails, this was not that! Let’s get to it.
- Camel Cardigan, $22.88 // Let’s start with the most versatile piece from the haul, this camel cardigan. It’s technically called a “coatigan” online, but I would classify it as a more structured cardigan. It comes in 4 neutral hues and runs true to size. If you are a teacher or work in a more business casual environment, this could be kept at work for chilly meetings. My mom saw me wear this and immediately asked for a link to buy one for herself.
- Henley Tee, $7.98 // Aren’t we always on the hunt for an easy tee to layer with? This fitted henley can be worn under cardigans, jean jackets, or tucked in skirts. It doesn’t bulk anywhere, but also isn’t too low cut. I find many v-necks or scoop necks to be an inch or two too short, but this one fits just right. If pregnant, size up.
- Utility Jacket, $22.96 // When you’re thinking of spring trends, think: statement denim, utility pieces, tie-dye, florals. This utility jacket would be perfect over a fitted cotton dress with sneakers or sandals. It also comes in blush or green if you prefer something less neutral.
- Long Cardigan, $34 // Long cardigans pair beautifully with fitted dresses, but sometimes they are bulky and overpower the look for spring or summer. This one is fitted and lighter, but still great quality! I wear it over a maternity dress and still feel like the dress can be a statement, while I’m wearing layers. This runs more fitted, if in between size up.
- Leopard Maternity Dress, $7.99 // Speaking of maternity dresses, this leopard find is a must for your maternity wardrobe. Fits TTS {I took a small} and is made of the softest material. I’ve worn this twice this week and know I’ll wear it on repeat once it gets warmer, too.
Do you have a favorite from the haul?!
Wow, so many great finds! You look really good, Katey! 🙂
