I’ve had my moss bunnies out for a few weeks now {I know, I know!} and my Easter door hanger welcoming guests, so I think it’s easy to admit Easter is my favorite holiday to prepare for. The Easter holiday means everything to our faith, and I have so many incredible memories associated with it. My mom experienced many miscarriages and she told me I would have a little sister {Kirsten} on Easter many years ago. Every since opening that “big sister” charm in my Easter Basket 24 years ago, I have found such joy in the ritual of Easter morning. I did a little interview with Petite Keep discussing how I prep my children’s Easter baskets. You can read it here.
As you shop for sweets and treats from the Easter Bunny, I wanted to share a few things we are incorporating in our kids’ baskets.
As Maxi has gotten a little older and can understand the reason for holidays, Paul and I have wanted to put a focus on the WHY we give gifts. My sister makes these precious letters from The Easter Bunny you can place in your child’s Easter Basket. These letters tie it all back to our faith. You can purchase here.
