If you love a good sale, then you are probably already partial to mid-summer sales. It’s no secret July sales can be a smidge better than holiday ones. Amazon Prime Day, Nordstrom Sale, AND the beloved MacKenzie-Childs Barn Sale to name a few. Today, let’s start with the Nordstrom Sale. If you are a card holder, many of you can probably start shopping this week. I broke down 10 tried & true items, along with 10 I have my eye on, and what I’m grabbing for the kids.
10 I’d Recommend:
- I don’t think the Doona is the end all, be all…BUT if you can get it on sale it’s such a lovely convenience with a baby. We used it for travel, and easily dining at restaurants. It’s the perfect size for being out and about.
- Until Harry started riding a scooter, he was obsessed with his trike! We’d take sister to school and then go on our morning walks.
- I am most loyal to UPPABABY when it comes to your main stroller system. I’ve had the Vista and Cruz and love both.
- I promise to stop chatting about strollers in one second. But now that my kids have kind of outgrown the baby/toddler stroller systems, this is what we use. I’ve had it since Maxi was four and even at six she fits in it for travel. We took it to Disney and Colorado!
- These are the shoes I wore to this wedding, and they were even comfortable on cobblestones!
- I don’t backstock a *ton* of beauty products, as I always accumulate quite a collection trying things for the blog. But I get this in BULK. I have used this oil to shave my legs for years and will be ordering two.
- A few NSales ago, I got an identical coat to this. To date, it is probably my most-used sale purchase. I wear it all winter and friends will ask to borrow it for trips. Chronicles of Frivolity isn’t exactly about capsule collections, but if you are, THIS is a must.
- I have a cream sweater like this and I wear it with skirts in the fall. It’s easy to add any jacket or coat over it, because you don’t have to worry about thick sweater sleeves bunching up.
- Last year, I got these boots on sale. I keep them in our mudroom and slip them on nearly every day for half the year to run outside, go to the grocery store, and run to school pickup. They don’t feel like rainboots but can be worn in any weather. Just be sure to size down.
- These are my favorite sweaters that I throw on over leggings in the winter. I’ll be grabbing it in the color Nutmeg!
10 I’d Buy:
- Speaking of my favorite sweater on sale, I want to grab these boots to pair with it.
- I have been looking for brown boots to pair with midi dresses for church and I think these would be perfect.
- I’d style these boots with relaxed light-wash denim and a cropped sweater.
- I was so excited to find Mother denim on sale- it’s one of my favorite brands! Adding these to cart.
- I picture this over an all-black workout look as my winter mom uniform!
- Farm Rio is a go-to dress brand of mine, and I love this for church in the fall.
- I am needing more sunglass storage, and this looks like one where you wouldn’t run out of space.
- It usually doesn’t feel cool enough here to wear boots until November, so the clog is an organic transition shoe to fall.
- Without fail, I always use this sale as a chance to grab my Uggs for the year. I wear them as my house shoes each day, so I’m a bit hard on them.
- I’m also going to order this one size up to give it a more boxy style.
