We have been in baby bliss for the past six weeks! It is such a joy to announce that Hunt Crawford Hellman is here. He arrived June 24—just two weeks after big brother’s 4th birthday! He is our perfect little caboose, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for his safe arrival.

I wanted to share these newborn photos with you all, as many of you have been here for each exciting announcement and life milestone. His nursery tells a story of our prayers for him during pregnancy. While in my first trimester with him, I did a Bible study at church on the book of Psalms.

Psalm 1:3: “He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”

My prayer during my pregnancy with Hunt was that he would be filled with righteousness all the days of his life, that his delight would come from the ways of the Lord, and that he would be sustained through the Lord’s abundant love for him. I also prayed that his legacy would yield fruit not from his own doing but from his King’s.

His tree wallpaper feels like his room is surrounded by those prayers! We reused a lot of Harry’s nursery furniture while adding a few special touches. I call Maxi my sun, Harry my moon, and Hunt my stars- so his crib sheets are a punchy nod to that. There is a vintage Peter Pan print and Peter Pan on his shelf, because my friend told me to tell Maxi she was like Wendy having two baby brothers. I gifted Maxi a Wendy figurine for Christmas and we watched Peter Pan all those weeks on repeat in anticipation. Maxi loves being the leader of her baby brother pack and fits into the mothering role of Wendy quite well. 😉 She runs into our room each morning to hold Hunt and then asks me when she can be a mom one day. Ha!

Hunt has been the missing piece we always needed and desired, and we cannot wait to see the person he grows to be. For now, we will soak up every snuggle in this sweet little nursery. Thank you for reading!
