Favorite shirt, meet my COF girlfriends.

I ordered a batch of items online for the fall lookbook and out of everything, I was the most obsessed with this sweater. So instead of including it in the lookbook, this top got its own post. It comes in a few other colors and while a few sizes are sold out here or there, the fit of this top is worth grabbing it in any shade you can find! This is a similar style in the same brand if you can find your size here. When I’ve worn this sweater, everyone asks me where I got it and when I say, “Online at Walmart!” they say, “Okay can you send me the link right now?”

The brand is “Heart N Crush” from Walmart and I am so blown away by the quality {and of course price!} that I’m going to grab this sweater by the line, too.

I think a great way to mix high and low prices is to stick to a color palette! By rocking an all black, chic look you can really focus on quality- as opposed to balancing trends. That way, I can focus on finding the *best* basic items whether it be an affordable price or a designer staple. And I’m not as much focused on whether my leopard top is overpowering my $20 boyfriend jeans. This top is $14, the leggings {love the dressier style!} are $14, the bag {reviewed in my lookbook} is $27 and then the booties are $129 to give it the perfect balance of high and low. The booties are incredibly comfortable and are Steve Madden! Walmart has a “Premium Brands” shop on their site, so you can source the high-end pieces for your high-low looks easily. I’ll be honest, I try out a LOT of affordable looks because I don’t want to recommend something, just because the price is good. I want the quality to shock you on the price, so most of those pieces don’t make the blog. They make the return pile. But my favorite thing about this look is that after wearing these pieces for long days, I couldn’t tell you which piece was the high vs. the low. Isn’t that the sign of achieving the high-low outfit?! You never want to know the difference…and strangers can’t either! 😉

Everything I’m wearing runs TTS. The sweater is an oversized fit, but I’d go with your normal size to get this look.

Also, did y’all see this video of Maxi on Instagram last night? My heart can’t take it! I ran to go get a wedding gift and Paul sent me this. I left the store….without the wedding gift because I had to get home to her. ha.
