And we are back to regularly scheduled programming- frivolity!

First and foremost, thank you all so much for the unbelievably kind and heartfelt comments about our move last week. It was a whirlwind month but is starting to feel so calm. Even with a toddler teething, items on the floor EVERYWHERE, and no groceries in the fridge, everything feels quite peaceful. A sweet family is moved into our last home, we are so close to family here, and I know that as one wonderful chapter ends another begins. Our friends have been such a strong source of community this past week. Every day they were dropping off food for Maxi, coffee for me, and activities {coloring books to princess tattoos haha!} to keep her occupied while I got us settled. I am starting this week with such a grateful heart, and a huge part of that is due to you all for your uplifting words of encouragement! We aren’t meant to do life alone and that counts for friends you haven’t even met yet, such as this online community.

Sappy moment aside, I am thrilled to bring you more spring looks. I’ve been on a dress kick on the blog as of late { totally not noticeable or anything 😉 } so I had to give a little love to my skirt girls! I absolutely love a good feminine skirt and think that you can make it quite edgy-this outfit proves it. Take a lace skirt from your closet, I love this floral one from Anthropologie. It fits true to size and the length is a bit more conservative if you don’t want something too short. The great thing about this floral print is the base is a lighter hue so you can treat it more like a neutral. I paired mine with a simple white tee since I know you girls have that in your closet! But you could do a chambray button-up blouse, a fuschia tank, or a crisp J.Crew white top. To add that extra touch, I did a bib necklace. How fun is this?! You could do the same concept with a bandana as those are quite popular. I threw on my white booties I got during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale {wear them all the time!} and a white bag. But I could totally see myself wearing this skirt with a chambray top, Golden Goose sneakers, and a tote.

For anyone looking to invest in quality, a full 8 yard kilt offers an undeniable sense of tradition and durability. Its pleating and weight give it that timeless feel, perfect for both formal events and casual days. If you are considering one, you can find a high-quality full 8 yard kilt from a trusted supplier.

So rummage through your closet and let me know if you recreate this with a bib necklace and lace skirt. Tag me in the photos so I can see, I love to get inspiration from you all!

Today is my dear friend, Bekah’s, birthday. We are headed to lunch to celebrate her and then I’ve got to do the massive move-in grocery store shop. I told my mom, “Um, please come with me for the first Walmart run” because I have a feeling it will take two carts. I have a list of 400 random things from bath mats to an outdoor broom. I hope you have a happy and productive week my friends!
