With a baby in one arm and a toddler on the other hip, thankfully, I just have to swipe my thumb to get necessities to my door from Amazon. Oh, and maybe the non-necessities, too. 😉 Since most all my shopping has been online this year, here are a few things I have been loving from Amazon this summer!
- Handheld Vacuum– I kid you not, I have it on my editorial to do an entire blog post on vacuums and which ones I love and why I use them for different spaces. I saw a few blogger friends, like Veronika, swear by this one. I ordered and HOW did I live without this? Play-doh spills? I use this. A snack spills? I use this. Need to clean under sofa cushions? I use this. I reach for this at least 6 or 7 times a day. From crumbs in the kitchen to cleaning out my car, this is now what I consider a necessity for keeping our home tidy.
- Claris the Mouse– These books are a precious gift for a little girl. Maxi adores the seek and find one! The illustrations are so beautiful she will stare at them until she falls asleep. The Claris books rhyme and I do want to note that one of the characters is called “The Brat.” I don’t really want to teach Maxi that name at this age, so I just call her “The girl” while I read the book. A small thing to note, but last night reading one of her Claris books for the 18th time before bed I thought, “I need to remember to share that with you all” in case you were a bit thrown off by that name as well. She gets so excited about the friendship Claris has with the bird and the cat and begs to read this book a dozen times a day! I’m linking the Seek and Find one because it is great for the car or any other time you need them to keep their attention for quite some time.
- Diffuser Scent– This kept coming up on Amazon as a recommendation to me and I couldn’t fathom that a diffuser oil off Amazon would be all that nice. I’m so picky with fragrance, but I accept my fate. ha. Y’all, this is DIVINE! I do half the drops it recommends {like 3 or 4} in the diffuser and your entire home will smell amazing. I love to diffuse scents, but I will be honest, I do not think they fill a home like a candle does. This one does! If you love Le Labo scents, you’ll love this oil.
- Puff Sleeve Tee– Years ago, we couldn’t get enough one-shoulder tops or dresses in our closet. Paul would joke that I always blogged “off-the-shoulder tops under $50.” That’s what we wanted! Now, the sleeves are queen. You’ll even see shoulder pads in tops this fall. Oh yes, they are back. Fabulous sleeve details reign supreme right now and an easy way to incorporate that into your daily casual looks is with a puff-sleeve tee. I have this one from Amazon and it comes in a ton of colors! I have it in black, and get your regular size. I sized up at first since sometimes Amazon fashion brands run snug and I returned for my regular size. I can’t speak to how it dries because I hang dry 99% of my tops, but it is perfect for tucking in your jeans.
- Pan Organizer– I’m on a kitchen organization journey if you will. 😉 I organized all of our mixing bowls, plates, wine glasses, and beyond. My next project is to have cabinets intalled above our butcher block in the kitchen. We have open shelving, which is so much fun to style. And if you have open shelving in your kitchen, you probably keep it clean much better than I do! But this butcher block/shelf situation was turning into a catchall that turned into a junk counter. You know how people have a junk drawer? This was way worse. From pump parts to sippy cups to vitamins, it’s gotten out of control. We’ve saved to add cabinets, and I think this is going to be a tremendous help in finding a place for everything. But in the meantime, I’m organizing my cabinets and drawers that I do have like a mad woman. This pan organizer I ordered is fabulous! It is more for small pans and the lids, but the lid storage alone makes this my top kitchen buy all summer. Paul never comments on any of my organizational pieces and he kept thanking me for ordering it! haha.
- Panama Hat– In terms of fashion buys, this Amazon buy has been my favorite all summer. You can see me wear it here and here. We go to my parents’ every Sunday for a Sunday family dinner and swimming, and I faithfully wear this each week. It survives Maxi pouring pool water on me 24/7 and still looks great for running errands during the week.
- Stain Remover– I’ve spent quite some time in my laundry room this summer removing stains. From blowouts to popsicle stains, this stain remover has been my go to! I’ve even used it on our Pottery Barn sofa slipcover. I have yet to find a stain that this can’t remove. I love that it doesn’t “bleach out” stains like some removers do, so you aren’t left with spots of dye removed.
- Monthly Read– This book is my monthly read, but it’s on audible. Audible is one of my most used apps the past few months. You’d think with all this time at home I’d be opening paper books more often, but my hands have been a little full. 😉 I play audible while doing laundry, meal prepping, driving, and it’s so enjoyable. I started Finding Freedom on Sunday and so far, so good! I’ve seen all the buzz online where people say there is absolutely no way The Sussexes didn’t authorize this. I have to warn you, if you think this will be a “juicy tell all” this is not that. And does it paint them in a near perfect light? Yes. BUT, I really do enjoy it on audible and It’s a good listen while you are answering e-mails or cleaning around the house.
- Sleep Swaddle– It’s official, neither of my babies like to be traditionally swaddled. They want their hands up to self soothe, and even with the halo sleep sacks allowing that, they just prefer what I like to call, “The starfish swaddle.” This still helps them from startling themselves with reflux, but they can keep thier hands up. Maxi loved these and now Harry is already in the size medium. They are a favorite baby buy in my book.
- Toy Arch– Harry loves his bouncer and I’m a fan given this is how I can take a shower! ha. He is in it while I shower and get ready in the morning and it keeps him quite content. I added this toy arch to keep his attention and he loves it! I love this arch because you can also clip it onto their stroller when they get a little older or even a high chair at a restaurant.

Hi Katey! Love posts like this – do you have any ideas for a dupe for Le labo rose 31?
Thank you so much for reading, Jenna! I don’t have a dupe for that but let me look for one! 🙂 xx, katey

Hi Katey! I love your desk and chair! Super cute!! Could you please share where they are from?
Hi Sarah! Aw thank you! They are from Horchow and the brand is “hooker furniture.” I hope that helps! Thank you so much for reading! xx, Katey
I purchased the Santal 26 candles from the Nordstrom sale and since I ordered them Amazon kept recommending the Santal essential oil blend from Aroma. I was very hesitant to purchase it, but after coming up multiple times I pulled the trigger and I love it. I only use four drops and I was impressed how much it smelled like the Santal Le Labo scents!
Isn’t it amazing?! I also ordered the candles from the Nordstrom sale and feel the exact same way! Love that you love it, too! 🙂 xx, Katey
I just ordered the Puracy stain remover! Do you prefer this over Shout and mainstream alternatives? I started shifting my skincare to cruelty free and vegan options, and am now shifting my home items to cleaner and eco friendly alternatives. Can’t wait til it arrives!
100% prefer it to mainstream competitors. It doesn’t leave a nasty residue that sometimes Shout can and does a superior job to removing stains! Their Puracy countertop cleaner is amazing, too! xx, Katey
