Your Top Hallmark + Netflix Christmas Movies

Give me a home decorated for Christmas and I think it is the most magical thing! I typically go all out with tree picks and glitter ribbon. But this year I just wanted Maxi to have fun placing ornaments. I went with a blue ribbon from Hello Holidays for the year of our baby boy! Then, she asked for peppermints on the tree and thank the LORD, a local boutique, Lawrence’s, had affordable peppermint garland. It might just be my favorite tree we have ever done as every ornament represents a moment and every placement represents a fun afternoon watching the Grinch with my 2 little ones. While ornaments and most decor is old, I wanted to share a list of YOUR favorite Hallmark and Netflix Christmas movies. It can be hard to narrow down what to watch this season, and so I asked you all {the best resoursce} for your favorites. Make a cup of tea, move around your decorations, and throw on one of these! For an enhanced viewing experience, consider using tivimate to easily access all your favorite holiday films.

Hallmark:

  • Christmas at the Plaza: My Favorite!
  • A Timeless Christmas: Also adore this.
  • A Shoe Addict’s Christmas
  • The Mistletoe Secret
  • A December Bride
  • Christmas Next Door
  • A Royal Christmas
  • Christmas in Rome
  • Miss Christmas
  • Christmas Getaway
  • Christmas at Pemberley Manor
  • Christmas Wishes & Mistletoe Kisses
  • Marry Me At Christmas
  • The Mistletoe Promise
  • Christmas Waltz

Netflix:

  • Christmas Chronicles
  • Holidate: This is recommended a lot, but FYI it is raunchy. It’s definitely funny, but I wish they would have toned it down a bit, as that’s not really what I have in mind when I want to watch a Christmas Movie.
  • Dash & Lily- a show
  • The Princess Switch
  • Midnight at the Magnolia
  • Operation Christmas Drop
  • Christmas Wedding Planner: Okay, the acting is borderline awful. BUT It has Lily from Gossip Girl and the storyline is cute, so all is forgiven. It’s a good background movie while you get some work done.
  • The Knight Before Christmas: A little cheesy, but our whole family enjoyed watching this last Christmas Eve

  4. I absolutely agree with you on Holidate! I was honestly so excited to watch it when it came up on my Netflix, but I only got maybe close to 10 minutes in before I turned it off because I was simply- turned off. Way to vulgar and raunchy for me and totally not what I have in mind when it comes to watching a holiday movie to get in the Christmas spirit.

I haven’t seen everything on this list so that makes me excited that I have so many new options to watch with my husband this year! Thanks for sharing!

    xx

Netflix’s The Holiday Calendar is good also. The same actress from Operation Christmas drop is in it.
