Happy Sunday baby dolls! I typically never post on Sunday, but I wanted to share a little casual church look if you are running out of ideas! Fort Worth hit a cold front and so now I just kind of stare at my closet for church! Being a Texas gal I have 500 summer dresses, but we hit 40 degrees and you’d think I didn’t know how to dress myself. I just sit on the floor and stare at my closet while Paul reminds me for the 10th time we will be late for church.

So what do you do when you’re going to be late? You do what your grandmother told you not to do. You wear all white. In the cold. The great thing about winter [or fall] white is that no matter what materials make up your ensemble, it looks clean and chic, so you automatically feel more dressed up than you actually are.

I splurged on this toggle coat a few months ago because I always struggle with finding a coat that pairs well with dressy and casual looks! This one keeps you so warm [and it’s 43% off!], but also doesn’t look absurd with workout clothes after you wear it with a dress!

P.S. Thank y’all so much for all your well wishes with my surgery this past weekend. I’m feeling much more like myself [day 2 I was crying to Paul that I could never have a surgery again, even if I had to. Why is day 2 always the worst?!]. I had a little emergency room trip over the summer and they wanted to do the surgery then, but worried I’d be in too much pain for my wedding so they scheduled it for after. That had me so worried freaked the heck out I’d be in pain for weeks, but thankfully that doctor was just erring on the side of caution.
