Last week I covered wearable holiday party looks, and this week I’m talking serious dress up!
I shared that red can sometimes intimidate me, so I love to go with winter whites, sequins and jewel tones for dressy holiday parties! I’m pulling my favorite dresses below to help you find your favorite pick. I got this dress for our engagement party at Anthropologie and our engagement party was last February, so I can’t wait to wear it to some holiday parties this year! You could even add in some red pumps like these to make it a bit more festive. What I love most about investing in neutral sequins for holiday parties is that the look doubles for NYE! If you aren’t going to be around the same group of people, I say be a total outfit repeater! Also, for most sequin dresses order one size up. That way you look classic, not club.
Don’t forget to bring a bottle of champs for your hostess! Or a homemade sangria is a really sweet touch if you love to make your own gifts. My favorite is a bottle of Pinot Noir mixed with 2 cups apple cider, 1 chopped pear, 1 chopped apple and 3 cinnamon sticks! Let sit in fridge for 4 hours. 🙂
I hope this helps you feel like the most well-dressed guest!
I love how you’re incorporating winter whites instead of the classic red for holiday looks. This dress is gorgeous on you!

I’m not a big “red” person either, so I love the idea of wearing winter whites and sequins! Great look!!

I’m not a huge fan of green but the ninth dress the green sequined one is wonderful. If only I had somewhere to wear it. <3
LOVE your pretty white Christmas tree!! <3
