Happy Friday! Today I wanted to bring back some Friday Frills but feature a few wedding photos! I pinky promise I’ll be sharing some photos [I keep getting asked! 😉 ] but I just wanted to make sure all our grandparents were given the opportunity to see our wedding photos over the holidays before I posted them online.
I was also super sentimental because it was Paul’s first work trip this week since we got married! I’m so independent. I lived alone for a few years after college and LOVED it. I lived alone my freshman year of college and LOVED it. And I LOVE to do things by myself and not have help. But something about him being in LA all week made me so sad. So by Wednesday night I called my sister and said, “We are having a sleepover and you can’t get out of it.”
Here’s a few links to get a jump start on your weekend reading!
1.Peaches loves my slippers! Paul kept telling me to not let her chew on them but she falls asleep inside of them because she is so little and it’s so cute! I think I’ll get these to replace mine and she can’t get inside them! haha.
2.Check out the YSL Spring Boho Stone Makeup Collection, this will hit shelves in January! I want all the nail polishes and the face powder!
3.We are changing a few things in our home, including our white chair and ottoman. While I absolutely loved it, not everyone is as OCD as I am. 😉 [Ahem, my husband.] He is always getting stains here and there and he swore the last time he washed the slip cover was the LAST time. haha. I’m thinking about getting this chair because I have an additional 20% off coupon! But what is your favorite color?!
4. Paul has all of next week off for work and I’m excited to start our own family Christmas traditions! We have a few things planned, but I definitely wanted to bake all day on Christmas Eve before church. That way on Christmas Day we can munch on them and his family has a party the day after Christmas so I won’t have to scramble and make something! This is the first recipe I want to try. Nothing better than a classic sugar cookie.
5. These look just like my wedding shoes for a fraction of the cost! And this store has 50% off select shoes until Monday!
Have a happy weekend and safe travels if you start heading out for Christmas!
Get the dusty blue color, hands down!
I love that you and Paul are starting your own traditions! Baking all day on Christmas Eve sounds wonderful 🙂
Merry Christmas Katie!
